FDCPA Case Filings<\/h2>\n

Our firm files FDCPA<\/a> cases across the states of both Washington and Oregon but we almost always file our clients’ cases in Federal Court.<\/p>\n

The U. S. District Court for the Western District of Washington serves as the federal trial court for the portion of the State of Washington west of the Cascade Mountain range and from the Oregon border to the Canadian border. \u00a0Western Washington is split into two divisions. FDCPA Cases in Island, King, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish and Whatcom counties\u00a0are filed in the Seattle<\/a> divisions. Whereas, FDCPA cases in\u00a0Clallam, Clark, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, Skamania, Thurston and Wahkiakum counties are all filed in the Tacoma Division.<\/p>\n

The U. S. District Court for the Eastern \u00a0District of Washington serves as the federal trial court for\u00a0Adams, Asotin, Benton, Chelan, Columbia, Douglas, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Walla Walla, Whitman and Yakima Counties.\u00a0The Eastern District of Washington maintains courtrooms in Spokane, Yakima, and Richland. If you are filing an FDCPA case in Eastern Washington, your courthouse is almost surely the one in the city that is the shortest distance from your home.<\/p>\n
