When you file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition in Oregon or Washington and forget to include an unsecured creditor, the debt may be discharged anyway. If your case is declared “no asset” (nothing to distribute to your creditors), and the omitted debt was not incurred as a result of any fraud on your part, the debt is discharged even though you did not list it.
