On March 15, the Census Bureau Median Family Income figures change. The Median Family Incomes are used in the Bankruptcy Means Test not only to determine at least threshold eligibility for Chapter 7 but also to determine whether a Chapter 13 filer will be under the jurisdiction of the Bankruptcy Court for either three years or five.

The current median family income numbers for both Oregon and Washington as well as the ones that will be operative on the 15th can be found on the United States Trustee web site.
